After a certain point in life, people born in the ’90s suddenly realised that the world around them has completely changed. They grew up in a time without constant technology — mornings began with school, not endless reels. Evenings were spent playing with neighbourhood friends until the sun went down. Meals were enjoyed without scrolling through phones… and yet, life felt full.
They breathed fresh air before AQI became a daily concern. They rode bicycles to school in the chilly mornings, laughing with friends — when everything felt simple. Sitting together in front of the TV, the whole family gathered, was a different kind of happiness.
But now, so much has changed. Every day we hear about climate change, air quality levels, and a future that feels uncertain. And in the middle of all this chaos, there’s still a part of our mind that quietly travels back to that golden era.
That feeling… is called nostalgia.
